The release of this documentary comes just after the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA)’s first anniversary (October 15, 2016). It aims to inform a wide audience how the path towards a long lasting peace in Burma continues to be threatened by ongoing militarisation and clashes in southeast Burma. The documentary is based on footage, reports and information gathered in Karen areas in southeast Burma since January 2012 until October 2016.
